Short Stop: There's Got to Be a Morning After..

The Games of the XXI Olympiad are over. It is difficult to believe that we will not be glued to our TV this week. Olympic post partum depression is already settling in. The morning is not nearly as bright the day after the the flame goes out.

However, my blogs on Vancouver are far from over. Stay with me as I talk about trading pins, "Teaching NYC Kindergarteners a Lesson about Life and Sport,"  "Backseat Drivers and Monday morning Quarterbacks" (NOW titled A Musing: Allegory and one you will want to read for sure!), "Mardi Gras 24/7" and "What's Next?"

Right now, I am sad that the glow of the Olympic flame has been extinguished in Vancouver. But as our athlete moves out of the Village and back to his mortal life, we move on. Adieu, Vancouver! Merci beaucoup. We will be back. Now, on to Torino and Worlds. Ciao.

  5. The TV will be darkened with the flame of Vancouver going out. BUT, tomorrow prevails and more cheers will come from fans across the "FLYING PIGS" and USIDPC. The blogs have been wonderful from Vancouver. Thank you for the FYI's and caring comments. NOW.....when are we going to get together? Love to all~

  7. Wow! Thanks everyone! It's been fun and I love that so many of you are following along. I'll have the next installment in a day or two. I have also asked for a guest blogger. Molly from NYC is going to tell you all about her kindergarten kids' Vancouver project! We blogged to her class while we were there. It was amazing and we all learned so much.
