Musing - Making Faces

   Everyone I know has several "faces." There is the "Business" face. There is the "Public" face. There is the parent, sister, brother, son, friend face. So, when I look in the mirror and see that aging face staring back at me, I have to wonder who is it really. 
   It is so simple for other people to decide on the face you are wearing on a particular hour, day, week or year. Why is it that they can look at you and pass that judgement so easily when you can't do it yourself? 
   I am getting ready to face the world today. I'm just wondering what face it will be.

    Being a Granny is even more of an OMG who IS that ? My Mom is on the phis. but your cartoons are a perfect example of the confounding emotions that take over on a given OMG day>> Love your Blog it is always a kick to catch up with your insights...

    The hardest face?: the neutral "I am not judging you or planning to offer advice" face when your adult children share their plans with you. ;)

    On a skating note, I find the "it's no big deal even though I knew I was worth so much more than those marks" face!! Maybe I should draw a cartoon for that, but I don't know if the right type of pencil even exists!
